Catering Staff

If gratuity is not included in the fee, 20-25% is industry standard. If you are blown away
by the food or staff, tip more!

Hair/Makeup- 15-20% is standard

DJ- If they are independent, a tip is not required. If they are apart of a larger DJ company, a tip is
recommended. 10-15% is appropriate.

Cake- 10-15% tip is appropriate but not required

Bar- If gratuity is not included in the fee, 20-25% is industry standard. You may also allow them to have a
tip jar on the bar.

Florist- 10-15% tip is appropriate but not required

Wedding planner- If they are independent, a tip is not required. If they are apart of a larger company, a
tip is appreciated but not required. 10-15% is appropriate.

Venue- No tip required

Photographer/Videographer- No tip required, but always appreciated.

Tipping is not always required, but is always appreciated! Every vendor is different, and whether or not
you are hiring an independent vendor or through a company matters!
